mesmer doesn't really confer any advantages and is slower than necro (casting preps is fun), so i wouldnt bother ;p

MoP is overrated anyway as much as healing (just use seed). Take a RoJ monk, a barrage splinter rit and an AotL nec : loadz of fun !

Umm, the question was fro a FoWSC, not a balanced / hero run.
Although if you are bringing a MM with you you might as well invest into having a Curses Necro with Barbs and MoP though. Every minion will trigger those 2 skills whenever they hit the target.

Well, due to a fail today on my part as MoP and bringing the wrong bar, we ascertained you don't actually NEED a MoP if you've got two competent VoSes. I'd stupidly not checked my build before we went in, was distracted on Vent and realised after cons had gone up that I had the wrong build. We still did the run in 25 mins. So yeah... We're starting to look at alternatives to a MoP when running 2 VoS dervs.

Why use mesmer to replace MoP when using 3 of them u can run mezSpike and resolve the problem?
P.S: yes, i know isn't really popular for pugs, but is still viable.

I'd say it's more than viable, it's optimal.

As mop you need: Mop! An NOTHING else.
So tipiak is right even for a sc, monk goes Roy, Rit goes Barrage ranger; Nec goes Mop-SS and 100b stays 100b and 100b goes forest rit or t3.
And its still a Manlywaybuild.
